Providing Your Child with Care

Based in Ft. Collins, Colorado, Mary has over 30 years of experience, offering long-term child care for infants to school-age children.

Emphasis is on a low ratio of teacher to child and one-to-one relating for every child with a focus on emergent and play-based curriculum, for all children.

Children in Mary's care tend to form long-term bonds. Many families have enrolled siblings, resulting in a 7-10 year stretch of care.

Testimonials

“Mary is an incredible caretaker! My two sons went to her from birth through preschool. Even now that they are older they continue a relationship with her and visit her house. She is loving, accommodating and always met their needs. At times, our family requested special needs such as dietary needs, logging bodily actions/reactions and sleeps, taking care of broken bones and wounds, administering eye drops and other medications, etc. Mary met our expectations with ease and grace. Mary limited screen-time and provided peer interaction as much as possible, which is important for our family. She also had other wonderful resources to support her daycare at times. There were play therapists, exposure to farm animals and field trips to gyms, Chuck-E-Cheese, parks, and fire stations. This provided learning and other opportunities for my sons as well. Mary went above & beyond as a provider and I’m glad we chose HER as someone to help raise our two wonderful sons! I love that she will be part of our family forever."

"We found Mary after looking at numerous other daycares and hadn't found a good fit. Being a first time mom, Mary was very warm and welcoming and was patient with all of my questions. Mary is great with our little girl as well as keeping us informed throughout the day! My daughter is ready to go play when she gets there and is happy at the end of the day. Mary is good with balancing all the different kiddos needs and doing different activities. Mary has been flexible with us and makes sure we are informed of the day! We have been very pleased with the care she provides our daughter and most definitely recommend her as a childcare provider."

“I am very proud to say that I brought Mary, not one, but two children (3 months and 2 years of age). As all mothers experience, it is so hard to leave your children with someone else when you first go back to work. I felt Mary was going to give my kids the best care possible after many interviews with different providers. Over the past couple of years, I’ve found this to be true. When I do have the opportunity to watch Mary interact with the daycare children (I have the opportunity to breast feed on my lunch breaks), it always amazes me how well she handles each situation. My oldest not only loves Mary, but sometimes doesn’t want to leave because he’s having too much fun! She has patiently and lovingly helped him to become more respectful, polite, and to be a good friend to others. She is so creative and is always prepared with some new activity for them to try. My child loves when the animals come to visit, field trips, holiday parties (Valentine's Day, Christmas, etc.), going to the park, or just playing in Mary's backyard. I feel very grateful to have found Mary. Mary’s daycare is more than a daycare for my children; it is a second home."

"My girls always looked forward to going to Mary's.  She did such a great job creating something fun for them to do every day, and she bonded with them like they were her own kids. It's really great and quite a relief to pick your kids up at daycare fed, clean, and happy - couldn't ask for anything more."
